Thato's Story I have a sister who works as a software developer for a notable company and it always looks empowering whenever I see her work. We could use more women in tech hence that sparked my interest in the world of tech

🙋‍♀️ Thato's Motivation

To gain practical coding/tech skills that are in demand and use them to build and solve real world problems. My motivation for learning how to code comes from wanting to build something of my own. I have always been curious about how things work behind the scenes, like how people design websites, how they solve problems , and bring their ideas to life with just a keyboard a monitor and a mouse. As a student I don’t always have access to tech resources, but I know that coding is a skill that can change my future.

🤹‍♀️ Thato's Hobbies

I am a very creative yet isolated person so I delegate my free time online whether it’s learning new tik tok dances or watching YouTube videos I find it interesting how people can just think of an idea and implement that without hesitation. It makes me very curious to want to learn.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
