Tanya's Story Since the past 5 years, I've had some ideas on how India's primary/ secondary education systems can be enriched with apps/ digital resources, but I never studied coding so I don't know how feasible these could be, or what better ways there are to develop my ideas. I've been desperate to learn professional coding so I can work tangibly on these ideas and contribute to India and the wider world.

🙋‍♀️ Tanya's Motivation

I want to learn coding not only to improve my jobs skills and give my family a better life, but also because I have some strong ideas for anEdTech startup but no network, support or funds to pay someone else to develop the ideas as apps/ websites. I want to contribute to India's digital education scene and I was looking for a way to learn coding in order to achieve this.

🤹‍♀️ Tanya's Hobbies

I love creative writing, cooking, reading (a lot!), spending time with family , long walks and talking to intelligent people!

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
