Taniya's Story Initially, I didn’t know what coding really was or how it worked. After scoring 95.8% in my 12th grade, I was encouraged by my brother to explore programming during my break. That was the turning point — I started learning the basics out of curiosity, and as I dug deeper, I became genuinely fascinated by how code could bring ideas to life. What drew me in was the logic behind each line and the ability to build something functional from nothing. It felt like solving a puzzle, and each time I overcame a challenge, it pushed me to keep learning more. Once I joined college, my interest continued to grow. Being part of the technical club and actively participating in hackathons helped me realize how much I enjoy working with code, especially when collaborating and learning from others. Coding, to me, is more than just writing instructions for a computer — it’s a creative tool that lets me express ideas, solve problems, and innovate. That’s what keeps me motivated to learn and grow every day. It’s exciting to think about how much there is still to explore, and I’m eager to keep pushing forward in this journey.

🙋‍♀️ Taniya's Motivation

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes comes from a strong passion for technology, a desire to build impactful solutions, and a commitment to continuous growth in the field of web development. As a Computer Science student, I’ve actively contributed to several projects — including a cloud-based blood management system and a file compression website — which have deepened my interest in full-stack development. Participating in hackathons and being part of my college’s technical club has further fueled my curiosity, allowing me to explore real-world problem-solving and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.I’m particularly inspired by SheCodes’ mission to empower women in tech and provide a supportive, hands-on learning environment. Joining this community will not only strengthen my technical foundation but also connect me with mentors and peers who share my enthusiasm for innovation and inclusivity. Through SheCodes, I aim to expand my capabilities and contribute meaningfully to the tech world.

🤹‍♀️ Taniya's Hobbies

I enjoy exploring new technologies, participating in hackathons, and being part of tech communities. Outside of coding, I love playing badminton, dancing, and spending time with my family. I also enjoy spending time in nature and engaging in creative tasks that challenge my thinking and keep me balanced and energized.
