Syville Jane's Story I first became interested in coding when I was looking for a way to make my own website. I didn't know anything about coding, but I was determined to learn. I found some online tutorials and started learning the fundamentals. I soon realized that coding was a really powerful tool and I wanted to learn more.

🙋‍♀️ Syville Jane's Motivation

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes is twofold. First, I want to gain the skills necessary to become a web developer. I believe that coding is a critical skill in today's economy, and I want to be able to create websites and apps from scratch. Second, I want to learn how to code in order to empower other women. I know that there are many talented women who are not pursuing careers in coding because they feel intimidated or uncertain about their ability to learn. I hope to be a role model for other women and show them that coding is a skill that anyone can learn with the right instruction and support.

🤹‍♀️ Syville Jane's Hobbies

My hobbies are reading books and listening to music.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
