Swati's Story I first got interested in coding when I saw how people were building real things like apps, websites, tools just through logic and creativity. It honestly felt like a superpower. I started learning out of curiosity, but what really hooked me was how it started changing the way I think. The more I practiced, the more I noticed my brain shifting. I started breaking problems down differently, thinking in steps, and even approaching everyday challenges more logically. It’s like coding rewired how I process things, and that feeling of growth is something I really enjoy. Even though it gets frustrating sometimes, the idea that I can build something from scratch, just with my laptop and my brain, keeps me going.

🙋‍♀️ Swati's Motivation

I want to learn how to code with SheCodes because I’ve always been curious about how real-world tech products are built. Over time, I’ve realized that coding isn’t just for techies,it’s a skill anyone can learn to bring their ideas to life. Whether it's creating something that solves a problem, helps a community, or just makes life a little easier, I want to be able to build it myself. What really draws me to SheCodes is the kind of supportive space it offers for women. It feels less intimidating and more like a place where I can grow at my own pace, ask questions freely, and be around others who are learning just like me. I’ve worked on a few small projects and ideas before, and learning to code properly would help me take them to the next level. I’m excited to pick up real skills, get creative, and maybe even inspire others who are just getting started.

🤹‍♀️ Swati's Hobbies

I like doing a mix of things for fun! Singing is something I really enjoy — it helps me relax and feel creative. I also love listening to music, especially when I’m in my own zone with my headphones on. Sleeping is definitely up there too , nothing beats a good nap when I need to reset.Apart from that, I enjoy hanging out with friends, exploring new cafes, watching comfort movies, and just unwinding with small fun things that keep me sane and happy.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
