Shivangi's Story I became interested in coding during my first year of B.Tech when I was introduced to basic programming. Initially, I didn’t fully understand it, but slowly I started enjoying the process of breaking problems into smaller steps and getting the output through my own logic. What inspired me even more was seeing how coding is used in everything around us, from apps we use daily to smart devices and automation. The moment I built my first small program and saw it run successfully, it gave me a sense of achievement. Since then, I’ve wanted to learn more and explore different areas like IoT, cybersecurity, and web development. Coding makes me feel creative and logical at the same time, and I love that there’s always something new to learn. That curiosity is what pushed me toward improving my skills and applying for programs like SheCodes.

🙋‍♀️ Shivangi's Motivation

I want to learn coding with SheCodes because I genuinely want to build a strong foundation in tech and open up better opportunities for myself. I am currently studying CSE with an IoT specialization, and I’ve realized that coding is the core skill that connects everything in technology, from simple websites to complex IoT systems. I want to improve my technical skills, gain confidence, and become capable of creating meaningful projects on my own. Learning through SheCodes would help me grow in a structured way with proper guidance. I come from a background where practical exposure in tech is limited, so this program would give me the right starting point to learn things that I can apply in internships and future jobs. My long-term motivation is to become a skilled engineer, explore various fields like IoT, cybersecurity, and web development, and eventually build solutions that make people’s lives easier.

I love reading, writing, doodling, listening to music, exploring new tech tools, and watching movies in my free time. I enjoy learning new things and working on creative ideas that keep me motivated and relaxed.
