SHABBATH's Story about a year ago, I saw a Zambian TikTok post a video about how she learnt how to code, I decided to do more research and realized that this industry is growing very fast and very fun. suddenly I became interested, I saw sides to technology that I didn't know existed and I thought I needed a computer science degree for it. I later saw the success stories of most of the ladies that did you're bootcamp and how it helped them land jobs at very good companies. Since companies are moving towards technology, I think it would be a good thing to actually learn how to handle it and have its basic knowledge.

🙋‍♀️ SHABBATH's Motivation

I graduated 4 months ago from a prestigious university here in Lusaka. unfortunately, I haven't yet secured any entry level job since completing my studies. This is because of the employment pool which is extremely small compared to the number of graduates every year. maybe a career in tech can help me to improve my skills and possibly open new opportunities so I can become a black woman in tech even as I keep applying for jobs.

my hobbies include reading novels, cooking, volunteering teaching kids at church, singing, and baking and taking free online courses. in short i enjoy stepping outside of my comfort zone.
