Seble's Story I first became interested in coding during my early university studies at Jimma University. As I began exploring computer science, I was fascinated by how code could bring ideas to life whether it was a simple webpage. What truly sparked my interest was seeing how technology can solve real problems in our communities. For example, during one of my early projects, I worked on a car rental system designed to make vehicle access easier for people in Ethiopia. That experience showed me the power of coding to create practical, impactful solutions, and from that point on, I was hooked. Since then, I've pursued coding more seriously through internships, personal projects, and platforms like Flutter and Laravel to grow my skills.

🙋‍♀️ Seble's Motivation

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes stems from my passion for software development and my desire to continuously grow as a developer. During my studies at Jimma University, I built a solid foundation in web development, mobile app development, and backend technologies like Laravel and Flutter. I’ve also completed several internships where I applied these skills in real projects, such as a car rental system and multiple mobile apps. However, I’m always looking for new, structured ways to deepen my knowledge, especially through communities that empower and support women in tech. SheCodes offers a unique opportunity to not only improve my coding skills in a practical, project-based way but also connect with a global network of like-minded learners. I’m excited to learn from industry professionals, challenge myself with real-world tasks, and become a more confident and well-rounded developer.

🤹‍♀️ Seble's Hobbies

Outside of coding, I really enjoy graphic design creating logos, posters, and banners allows me to express my creativity in a visual way. It’s something I find both fun and relaxing. I also like exploring new design tools and techniques to improve my skills. Additionally, I enjoy watching tech tutorials and building small personal projects in Flutter or web development just for fun. It gives me a chance to experiment with new ideas without pressure. In my free time, I also love listening to music and spending time with family and friends to unwind.
