Sbongukwazi Phiwokuhle 's Story I first got interested in coding in a very unexpected way. I didn’t grow up around tech, and honestly, I used to think coding was only for super smart people or those who could afford expensive degrees. But one day, I came across a simple coding tutorial online, and I was shocked at how creative and logical it felt at the same time. It wasn’t just about typing weird symbols it was about building something from scratch, solving problems, and actually making ideas come to life. What really pulled me in was the idea that anyone, from anywhere, could learn to code and change their life with it. I started watching YouTube videos, reading articles, and trying free online exercises. Every time I figured something out, even the tiniest thing, it gave me a sense of control over my future that I hadn’t felt before. I realised that tech isn’t some far-off dream. It’s a space where people like me curious, determined, and maybe starting from scratch can actually belong. That’s why I want to keep learning. I’m excited by the idea of being able to build websites, create apps, and one day, maybe even help others get started too.
