Sarah's Story Actually, my interest in coding was born from my realization of just how much our lives are shaped by technology. I always used to think, how is a website or an application made and how is the whole process going on? Then, one day I saw my friend making a little game, and that interested me. I thought it was cool to really be able to build something from scratch; hence, this motivated me to learn more!

🙋‍♀️ Sarah's Motivation

This course will teach me how to code in practice with SheCodes, equip me with all the skills needed to do so, and empower me to create and build projects. I would like to improve my career opportunities within the admin, tech sector, network with a community of learners alike, and increase my problem-solving skills through coding. So cool to think about the things coding can offer on both a personal and professional level!

🤹‍♀️ Sarah's Hobbies

I like to read quite a bit of fiction and fantasy in my spare time, as well as go on hikes and explore nature. I also like to cook and try new recipes, which allows me to be creative in the kitchen.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
