Sara's Story One of my friends made me familiar with coding. I got really thrilled when I realized that computers can make my code true just like a dream! The first line of code I learned was print(‘hello world’) and it actually meant like a world to me. I practiced everyday for one year and now I have intermediate coding skill in python. I’m mostly interested in AI applications such as machine learning, computer vision and NLP.

🙋‍♀️ Sara's Motivation

I’m a medical student at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. During past year, I’ve always tried to learn coding but I couldn’t afford international courses worldwide so I used youtube tutorials and Iranian courses, which were limited and not qualified sometimes. I really appreciate it if you consider my application. I am interested in AI applications in medicine and I’m pretty sure that I want my future career to include AI in medicine. Thanks again for your generous scholarship and sympathy

🤹‍♀️ Sara's Hobbies

I love playing guitar. I enjoy reading books and my favorite one is Alchemist. I am also interested in playing volleyball, and editing photos and videos.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
