Sanam's Story Social media has inspired me. I follow a few females in tech pages and it always inspires me to see women succeeding and thriving. Coding has given so many women independence and self-sufficiency. Something I am hoping I too can achieve.

🙋‍♀️ Sanam's Motivation

I am currently unemployed and finding it extremely difficult to secure stable work, despite holding a degree in Human Resource Management. The job market in my field is saturated and highly competitive, leaving me with limited opportunities and financial uncertainty. I am eager to pivot into a field that offers broader, more accessible career prospects—and coding is exactly that. I’ve always admired how technology continues to shape the world, and I'm inspired by the idea that learning to code can open doors to a future-proof, flexible, and impactful career. However, due to my financial situation, I’m unable to afford formal training. Being granted a scholarship with SheCodes would be life-changing. It would equip me with practical, in-demand skills that can help me break the cycle of unemployment and build a sustainable future. I am committed, hardworking, and ready to invest my time and energy into mastering coding. I believe that with this opportunity, I can successfully transition into the tech industry, uplift myself financially, and one day pay it forward by mentoring others who, like me, just need a chance to prove themselves.

🤹‍♀️ Sanam's Hobbies

I love spending time outdoors and connecting with nature—it helps me feel grounded and recharged. Hiking is one of my favorite activities, and I try to get out on the trails as often as I can. I’ve also recently started watercolor painting, which has become a peaceful and creative outlet for me. Beyond that, I enjoy learning new things, whether it’s reading, exploring online courses, or keeping up with the latest trends in tech and personal development. I find joy in activities that help me grow and stay inspired.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
