Priscilla's Story When I was young, I knew I loved any anything about technology yet couldn’t pursue it because in the part of the world I come from women in technology wasn’t appreciated as at then. I have been learning new technological skills via youtube and friends alongside my studies at college. When I heard of coding, I was interested but wasn’t getting the opportunity to learn it as the tutorials on YouTube weren’t getting me to understand it… Now the friend who spoke to me about SheCodes could now code even though she wasn’t a fun of IT as I were. Then decided to come search online to be connected to SheCodes. When I I realized women Can equally code and be employed and again coding being the order of the day, I become more interested and decided to join SheCodes.

Technology has gradually become a part of us and new areas keep evolving and getting attention by the employers. I almost love everything about IT thus mostly try to learn somethings on my own.. so when a friend introduced me to Shecodes I decided to join. Even though I had been told it’s difficult but I realized i can also learn if other women were able to learn. Again, I decided to learn how to code because in my country Ghana women in IT is now gaining recognition thus one needs to fit in if only you are interested. Therefore, an opportunity giving by a worldwide recognized organization like SheCodes would be a very good place to learn all one needs to know about coding.

I love to learn new languages, sing and watch music videos.I mostly watch movies for fun as well when I have nothing to do.
