Prisca's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized how much technology is shaping the future of work, including Human Resources. As I worked with HR systems and recruitment tools, I became curious about how these platforms are built and how I could one day create or improve them myself. I also saw how digital solutions can solve real problems like simplifying employee onboarding, tracking performance, or even creating platforms for learning and development. That curiosity, combined with my passion for helping people, sparked my interest in learning how to code and build meaningful solutions.

🙋‍♀️ Prisca's Motivation

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes comes from my background in Human Resources and my desire to become more tech-savvy in a fast-changing work environment. I believe that coding will equip me with digital tools to build efficient HR systems, automate administrative processes, and create platforms that improve employee engagement and communication. As someone passionate about people and development, I also want to use coding to design solutions that support employee wellbeing, simplify recruitment, and make HR services more accessible especially for small businesses and startups in Zambia.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
