Phuthi's Story At the tender age of nine or ten, I would watch films and see people coding, which inspired me to learn how to code. Seeing someone be able to control a robot with a laptop fascinated me. After that, when I started high school, I began playing about with Scratch and making games, which made me happy as well as proud of myself for being able to do it. Later in grade 10, I made the decision to enrol in an information technology course at school, but I didn't think the environment was right for me. Instead, I thought I would practise coding on the side and pursue it in the future.

🙋‍♀️ Phuthi's Motivation

Nowadays, everything is always changing, and people need to stay updated, especially with the existence of artificial intelligence (Ai) and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Coding also offers the benefit of constantly keeping you on your toes as you solve challenges, which is rather stimulating. Additionally, learning to code allows one to produce something useful that might positively influence other people's life, and the cycle.
