Peninah 's Story I first became interested in coding when I started working on my youth movement, Voices for Climate Justice (V4CJ). I wanted to create a website to share our projects and impact stories, but I didn’t know how to build one. As I explored online tools, I realized that coding is behind everything we see on the internet, from apps to websites and digital campaigns. This discovery fascinated me! I saw coding as a language of creativity and innovation that could help me tell powerful stories in new ways. Since then, I’ve been eager to learn how to design, build, and bring my ideas to life through code.

🙋‍♀️ Peninah 's Motivation

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes comes from my dream to combine technology and communication to create social impact. As a young climate advocate and aspiring journalist, I believe technology can amplify voices, connect communities, and inspire change. Coding will help me build digital platforms, like websites, podcasts, and radio projects, that share stories and solutions about climate change in my local language. I also want to gain valuable skills that will open doors to global opportunities and allow me to support my family. Learning with SheCodes will empower me to become a tech-savvy storyteller who uses innovation for good.

I love writing poetry, creating climate awareness content, learning new languages like French, and making short videos. I also enjoy reading inspiring stories, working on community projects, and spending time in nature, it always helps me think creatively.

Peninah 's coding training
