Nour's Story I’ve been in the science and computer track since my second year of high school in Tunisia, and now I’m studying computer science at university. But my first real spark of interest in coding happened the day I got hacked by one of those 'Turn your Facebook pink' links. I fell for it, because i love pink and it frustrated me so much that I started wondering how someone could even pull that off. That curiosity pushed me to start learning how things work behind the scenes and now, here I am, chasing that knowledge for real

🙋‍♀️ Nour's Motivation

My motivation for learning to code with SheCodes is simple: I want to stand out. I know I have potential and unique skills, and I want to use them to build something meaningful. Learning to code isn’t just a hobby it’s a strategic step for me. I want to strengthen my portfolio, gain real world experience, and eventually use those skills to open up international opportunities beyond the limits of my third world country

🤹‍♀️ Nour's Hobbies

I’m a curious person I get interested in everything, even if I’m not a master of anything (yet). I love working in groups because I naturally take the lead and bring people together. That’s actually one of my biggest strengths. Unfortunately, where I live in Kairouan, Tunisia, there aren’t many clubs for things I love like chess or tech. I’m a 1000 ELO chess player, but most of the time, it’s just me and my laptop. My biggest passion is coding it feels like my only rocket out of here. I also enjoy graphic design, photography, and torturing myself by trying to learn Blender… and crying halfway through it. But hey, it’s part of the process. also aviation is one of my hobbies , well ,purely in my head since I can’t afford to travel. I know every single detail about planes, from how engines work to different aircraft models. I spend a lot of time daydreaming about flying and what life beyond Tunisia could be like. It’s my mental escape and motivation to keep pushing forward.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
