Nomzamo's Story I first developed an interest in coding after witnessing how technology influences a variety of businesses and spurs creativity. Online courses exposed me to coding and piqued my interest in the process of creating websites and apps. I was eager to learn more about coding because I could make anything from scratch and use logic to solve issues. Ever since, I've been itching to study more and develop it as a career-enhancing ability.

I want to learn how to code because I want to get into the computer field and increase my chances of finding employment. I think learning to code will lead to new professional prospects, enabling me to work in a field that is expanding and make a significant contribution to initiatives. My long-term goals are to improve my family's future and attain financial stability. Acquiring the skill of coding will enable me to take charge of my career advancement and take advantage of the flexibility that the computer industry provides.

I enjoy reading, hiking, and experimenting with design projects. I also love learning new things and challenging myself through online courses.

Nomzamo's coding training

Nomzamo has gained access to SheCodes Plus for at no cost. It’s a 4 month coding training that’ll take her from a beginner to a professional.

She'll learn popular technologies, from HTML, CSS, JavaScript and development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
