Mosibudi's Story I started being interested in coding from seeing a lot of black women either on social media platforms like TikTok who have been part of the shecodes foundation. I got inspired and started doing my research as to what coding is and the difference career paths that one could follow in order to build a successful career. A lot of the women I have encountered so far seem to be making tech careers look attainable to an ordinary black female.

🙋‍♀️ Mosibudi's Motivation

I am a woman in her mid 30s who has worked in the call centre industry for more than a decade now with no career growth due to financial constraints to study further. The reason I am interested in this opportunity is to break into tech, learn new skills and better my life in order to be able to provide a better life for myself and my family.

Some of my hobbies include reading books , playing games, chess and running or jogging.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
