Mon Mon's Story Back in college days, I am not familiar with computer science major, not to mention the very first laptop I owned for college was handed down to me from a relative. Graduated with an economics major, I focus mainly on running a small enterprise in Myanmar related to clothing industry, where the majority of the employees are comprised of women. Over the past few years, I had witnessed how technology had evolved to a greater extent, facilitating every aspect of our lives in Myanmar. Fascinated by how coding works behind the scene, recently I took baby steps in figuring out various types of tech-related areas and niches ,and joined various tech groups on social media and found out about SheCodes Foundation.

I love learning new languages and getting to know different facets of other countries. Traveling and acquiring a taste of different cultures throughout my life is my goal. A connoisseur of food!

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
