Miriro's Story I was introduced to coding when I was doing my university education. However when I started my career path I diverted from coding due to the nature of the job I got into after university. I have been working in systems and project management but I have always hoped for an opportunity to revive my coding skills. Now with technology advancement, my coding skills are close to none as new languages have emerged over the years and the coding skills that I learnt in school have become near to obsolete.

🙋‍♀️ Miriro's Motivation

I would love to improve my skills as an ICT specialist and project manager. I do hope improving my skills will also lead to an advancement in my career path, a better salary and an improved quality of life. I am involved in a number of software development projects and each time I do, I always wish I had an opportunity to revive my coding skills.

🤹‍♀️ Miriro's Hobbies

I love sport, both watching and playing. I enjoy watching tennis, athletics, soccer, volleyball, hockey and cricket. Personally I play volleyball and am starting to learn golf. I also enjoy travelling and experiencing new environments, meeting new people, and exploring new places.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
