Maryam's Story Because I'm a BCS student My interest in coding sparked from a curiosity about how websites and apps function behind the scenes. Growing up in a digital age, I was always fascinated by technology and how it shapes our lives. The turning point came when I tried to customize a personal blog. I wanted to make it unique, but I quickly realized that achieving my vision required understanding HTML and CSS. That small project ignited my desire to learn more. Later, I took a basic programming class, and the excitement of seeing my code come to life was truly rewarding. The logic, problem-solving, and creativity involved made coding feel like solving an intriguing puzzle. I started experimenting with small projects, from creating simple calculators to designing basic web pages. As I delved deeper, I realized that coding is not just about writing lines of code; it’s about building something meaningful from scratch. This realization fueled my passion even more. I love the challenge it presents and the limitless potential it offers for innovation. Seeing how coding skills empower people to create solutions and build impactful projects motivated me to continue my learning journey, eventually leading me to platforms like SheCodes.
