Mankwana's Story My interest in coding was sparked by my curiosity about how data is processed and analyzed in real-world applications, particularly within the finance and economics sectors. During my studies in Economics and Econometrics, I encountered various data analysis tools like EViews and Excel, which gave me a foundational understanding of the power of data. However, I realized that learning to code would allow me to engage with data on a deeper level, providing more flexibility and control in how I handle, manipulate, and analyze large datasets. I see coding as a crucial skill that complements my passion for data analytics and finance. It offers a way to automate processes, uncover insights, and solve complex problems in a more efficient manner. Additionally, as I pursue a career in data analytics, I recognize that proficiency in coding languages like Python and R will be invaluable, not just in handling data, but in improving decision-making through advanced statistical modeling and machine learning techniques. This realisation is what ultimately led me to pursue learning coding.
