Lufuno's Story I was first introduced to coding during my matric year. I went to a particular workshop, which was very inspiring because I got to meet so many people who code and are in the technology industry. This then led to me wanting to know more about coding

I am a young South African girl who has faced many challenges growing up in a poor community, even though resources are scarce I have always known and believed that technology can open doors to success. I wish to learn coding through SheCodes because it has proven to be helpful to other females and I wish the same for myself. I wish to improve myself in the same platform as other females and gain knowledge as well, learning how to empower myself and other females.

Lufuno's coding training

Lufuno has gained access to SheCodes Plus for at no cost. It’s a 4 month coding training that’ll take her from a beginner to a professional.

She'll learn popular technologies, from HTML, CSS, JavaScript and development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!
