Livinda Christy Monica

Livinda Christy's Story Coding was something I learned at university. During that time, I was taught to build a simple project based on software called Alice. This software is a basic tool before I jumped into the Java language. In the final project of the Human-Computer Interaction subject, my team and I created a way to guide consumers with visual impairments when shopping in a supermarket. Creating the scenarios and coming up with solutions to this meaningful project was exciting to me. Despite working behind a computer screen, I am able to make a significant impact on people's lives through design and coding. Unfortunately, it was only in the first semester that I had much fun in coding because the next semester I found that the teaching method of some lecturers was ineffective for me. They explained things in a rigid and complicated manner. Hence, it was quite difficult to follow.
