Lebohang's Story I became interested in coding after doing my internship for my degree. There were only two engineers available to fix the machines anytime they broke down and the engineers would have to travel from far. I knew that I needed to fill in the gap and do a course that will fit into what I’ve already study and be beneficial while waiting for employment after my course. I started watching videos of people in coding and attended free workshops on coding which made me realise I enjoy coding, but didn’t have the finances to enroll into a coding course

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
