Komal's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized how much technology influences our daily lives—from websites and apps to smart systems and automation. During my college studies, I was introduced to the basics of programming, and even though I struggled initially, I was fascinated by how just a few lines of code could solve real-world problems. The logical thinking, creativity, and endless possibilities of building something from scratch excited me. My interest grew stronger when I saw other women building websites, games, and applications, especially those who started with no background in tech. It made me realize that with dedication and the right guidance, I could do it too. I started watching coding tutorials online and experimenting with basic HTML and CSS, and I loved the satisfaction of seeing my work come to life on the screen. However, I didn’t have a structured learning path or mentorship, which is why I’m eager to join SheCodes. I want to turn my curiosity into real skills and eventually into a career. Coding feels like a powerful tool to express ideas, solve problems, and create a better future—not only for myself, but also for my community.
