Jennifer 's Story My curiosity of how the web works got me interested in coding. I researched about it and found a programming school which I got enrolled in.I haven’t looked back since then. It has been quite an interesting journey and I don’t think twice to apply whenever I come across opportunities like this.

Being a programmer has been a lifelong dream for me, as I have always imagined the influence of tech in every sector of Africa today since I was younger. Despite the obvious disproportion between male and female genders within the field, I was eager to apply to a programming school to enable me achieve my dream, of which I was among the top 10% of my class. Finding out about SheCodes and the aims to improve digital and technology skills to girls and women perfectly aligns with my goals, and I am confident that this opportunity will enable me improve my tech and digital skills, network to build a much wider tech space for an average girl
