Ishika's Story I first became interested in coding when I entered college. As a Computer Science major, we had an introductory course in C, and honestly, it clicked almost instantly. I loved the logic, the structure, and the thrill of writing something that the computer could actually execute. What began as a compulsory subject quickly turned into something I genuinely started enjoying. A big push came from a senior I looked up to, she was deeply involved in blockchain, went to hackathons, built projects, and talked about technology that she could shape with her hands. Seeing her create real solutions out of ideas made me feel like, wow, I want to do this too. Her journey made me realize how powerful coding is, how it lets you build things that are cool, impactful, and completely your own. So that’s how it started.

🙋‍♀️ Ishika's Motivation

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes comes from a deep desire to not only understand technology, but to create with it. I see as an engineer, coding is a superpower, one that allows ideas to become products, imagination to turn into prototypes, and problems to transform into solutions. SheCodes provides a space where learning feels accessible, supportive, and designed for growth, especially for women who want to build confidence in tech. I am inspired by how technology shapes the world around us, whether through apps that connect people, tools that improve accessibility, or systems that make everyday life more efficient. I want to be someone who contributes to that change. Learning through SheCodes will allow me to strengthen my logic, problem-solving and creativity, while making me part of such an amazing global community.. My goal is not only to learn a language or framework, but to learn how to think, how to approach any problem, how to break down problems, design solutions, and build something different. With structured guidance, hands-on projects, and mentorship, I believe SheCodes will help me take my skills to a professional and impactful level. Ina nutshell, I want to code so I can build, solve, and empower myself and others. SheCodes offers the perfect environment to take that journey forward.

🤹‍♀️ Ishika's Hobbies

Some of my favourite things to do in my free time are dancing, reading, and playing sports, especially badminton and running. Dancing helps me express myself and unwind, while reading lets me explore new ideas and worlds. I also love staying active, and playing badminton or going for a run is my way of refreshing both my mind and body. And of course, like most people my age, I enjoy binge-watching a good series when I want something relaxing and fun.
