Ikeade 's Story My interest in coding was sparked by a desire to merge my passion for healthcare and technology and making a difference. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the impact of technology on improving lives, particularly in the medical field. I became fascinated with the potential of coding to develop innovative solutions that could address everyday problems and enhance patient care. As I explored the intersection of healthcare and technology, I began to conceptualize ideas for applications and websites that could simplify healthcare processes, improve patient outcomes, and increase accessibility. However, I realized that turning these ideas into reality required acquiring coding skills. Initially, I encountered a common misconception that coding is a challenging and male-dominated field, which almost discouraged me from pursuing my dreams. Many people believe that coding is not for women, and this stereotype could have easily deterred me. However, seeing my older sister excel in the field was a powerful catalyst for my own journey. Her success and confidence in coding boosted my own confidence, and I realized that with determination and hard work, I could overcome any obstacle and achieve my goals. This realization ignited a strong motivation to learn coding, driving me to pursue opportunities that would enable me to develop the necessary skills and knowledge. Through this journey, I aim to harness the power of technology to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, while also inspiring other women to pursue careers in coding and break down the barriers that may stand in their way.
