Harshita's Story Honestly, I never imagined myself getting into coding. Growing up, it felt like something far away from my world. But everything shifted when I first used ChatGPT back in high school. I was amazed by how naturally it could respond, almost like talking to a real person. It made me curious—how does something like this even work? That curiosity slowly turned into fascination. I started reading about how tools like ChatGPT are built, and that’s when I discovered the world of coding and AI. The idea that lines of code could create something so intelligent and helpful really stuck with me. It wasn’t just about the technology—it was the feeling that maybe one day, I could build something meaningful too. that’s when I knew I wanted to learn how to code. Not just for the sake of it, but because it felt like a path where I could explore, build, and maybe even make life better for others. It’s been a learning journey ever since, and every small step makes me want to go further.

🙋‍♀️ Harshita's Motivation

Coming from a small town where girls are rarely encouraged to dream beyond traditional roles, I’ve always felt the weight of expectations around me. In my community, pursuing something like coding isn’t just uncommon—it’s often frowned upon for girls. But despite all of that, my parents stood by me. They chose to support my education when others questioned it, and I carry that trust in my heart every single day. Learning to code with SheCodes isn't just about gaining a skill—it’s about proving that girls like me, from places like mine, can thrive in tech. It’s about showing that the dreams we hold quietly inside us are valid and powerful. I want to build a future where I can give back to my parents, who made sacrifices just to see me smile and succeed. I want to code not just for myself, but for them—for the people who believed in me when it wasn’t easy to.

🤹‍♀️ Harshita's Hobbies

In my free time, I genuinely enjoy playing basketball—it keeps me grounded, energized, and teaches me discipline and teamwork. Beyond that, I’m always drawn to exploring emerging technologies. I find it fascinating to learn how new innovations are shaping the world and solving real problems. It excites me to imagine the kind of impact I could create someday through technology. I also enjoy spending time watching insightful TED Talks or listening to podcasts that challenge my thinking and introduce me to different perspectives. I find joy in staying curious, learning continuously, and slowly shaping the person I aspire to become.
