Giang's Story I became first interested in coding when I had a chance to join a free class in a website called Codecademy. At that time, I was a newbie and I had a lot of struggles with coding. However, the step-by-step instruction on that website gave me a broader look into coding. Because it is free, I cannot access to all the subject materials and continue learning; therefore, my knowledge about coding is still lacking.

🙋‍♀️ Giang's Motivation

I was impressed by the mission of SheCodes as it provides equal opportunities for women to lean coding. As I am still a beginner, I had a lot of troubles with coding. I believe the clear and detailed course description of SheCodes will help me to better understand coding. I also think that learning with SheCodes will help me a lot with my career path.

🤹‍♀️ Giang's Hobbies

I really love reading books or now listening to podcast. If I feel tired, I will spend time listening. If I feel fine, I will indulge in reading. It gives me a new outlook on life and I really appreciate that.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
