🙋‍♀️ Feven Zeray's Motivation

I am from Gondar, Ethiopia, a developing country that faces numerous challenges, including ongoing wars and economic crises. Despite these hardships, I am determined to create a better future for myself and my family. I initially tried to teach myself coding through YouTube tutorials, I found it challenging to navigate the learning process independently. The hardest part of being self-taught was not knowing the right roadmap. The constant uncertainty and scattered information often made me feel confused and discouraged, causing me to lose hope at times. However, I reached out to Ethiopian students who had previously enrolled in SheCodes, and they highly recommended the program. Their positive feedback about the structure, mentorship, and the supportive community in SheCodes motivated me to apply. I am a hardworking, team-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills, and I am motivated to put in the effort required to succeed. I am excited to work with like-minded individuals who are passionate about learning and technology. SheCodes perfectly aligns with my goals of gaining valuable coding skills, opening new career opportunities, and creating a meaningful impact. This program will provide me with the guidance and resources I need to reach my goals, transition into the tech field, and ultimately contribute to my community’s development.
