Fatma's Story Honestly I became first interested in coding a few years after my graduation with a major in Biology in 2015, I wanted to pursue a career in bioinformatics, so I tried an online course on coursera but for some reason i felt it was too advanced for my level at the time.

🙋‍♀️ Fatma's Motivation

I have been working in the educational content development for an Ed tech company for 4 years now. During working in the educational part, I became really interested in the tech part of the industry. Not having enough knowledge of software engineering in general created a barrier between my ideas and how to be executed in reality. Knowing the other side of the process will help me form my ideas better to be executable and come to life.

🤹‍♀️ Fatma's Hobbies

Hanging out with friends, watching movies and documentries, and reading if my head has the capacity for it :D

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
