Fatemeh's Story I grew up watching my brother working with a computer. i wasn't allowed to work with it but in school i always tried to work with the computer as i was super curious about it. it was like this until i became 14 and learned about a field in university as computer science . since then i strongly wanted to learn coding. my interest in coding grew stronger every year but i could do little for my interest until i was in university and studying computer science.

🙋‍♀️ Fatemeh's Motivation

coding is fun and challenging t the same time. coding is a way to improve my logical thinking since it allows me to see problems from a perspective. I usually enjoy coding and the way I can learn to solve real-life problems, this was my reason for a long time time to learn to code. Still, recently I turned 20, and with the current situation in my country, I need to expand my skills and provide an actual deserving life for myself. because of my gender, I am less likely to be hired in Iran. therefore I need to improve my skills as I'm studying.

🤹‍♀️ Fatemeh's Hobbies

I love reading books since it's kind of traveling throughout the world. I also enjoy watching movies and playingg video games. last but not the least there was a time when coding was my hobby and not my career.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
