Disha's Story I was a tech enthusiast since childhood, I got my first computer at the age of 8, and I was always curious about learning new things. Taking my interest into consideration I started my degree in Computer Science at the Manipal University Jaipur. In my first year I realised when I'm coding, I am always learning and challenging myself due to the non-repeating nature of the tasks. I also got selected for Google WE Scholar 2022 as one of the top 250 out of 55,000+ applicants across India which motivated me to improve my coding skills and also boosted my confidence.

🙋‍♀️ Disha's Motivation

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes is to develop a passion for technology. With the help of SheCodes, I want to acquire skills that will be more valuable to me and my employer. I was also inspired by the use of technology in this modern age and how it relates to our daily lives.

🤹‍♀️ Disha's Hobbies

I love to research, learn, watch movies, travelling, and cooking. I enjoy endurance sports, especially cycling and running. I also love to read books, and I find it really relaxing and fun.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
