Daisy Wambui

Daisy's Story I first became interested in coding when I attended a tech meetup in Nairobi. I was immediately fascinated by the way that people were able to create software that could automate tasks, solve problems, and even create new forms of art. I was also excited by the potential for coding to make a positive impact on the world. After the meetup, I started learning how to code on my own. I found that I really enjoyed the challenge of learning a new language and the satisfaction of seeing my code come to life. I also appreciated the creativity and problem-solving skills that coding requires. As I continued to learn, I realized that coding could be a great way to combine my interests in technology, creativity, and social impact. I decided to pursue a career in software development, and I am now working on a project to use coding to improve the lives of women and girls in Kenya.
