Cynthia's Story I first became interested in coding when I realized how technology shapes almost every part of our lives. I was curious about how websites and apps worked behind the scenes, and I loved the idea of being able to build something from scratch.

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes is to gain practical, hands-on skills that will empower me to transition into a tech-driven career. I’m excited about the creative and problem-solving aspects of coding, and I believe SheCodes offers a supportive and accessible environment for women to grow in tech. I want to build real-world projects, boost my confidence, and open up new professional opportunities.

Some of my hobbies include reading, exploring new places. I also enjoy learning new skills—whether it’s coding, cooking a new recipe, or trying out a DIY craft. For fun, I love spending time with friends and family or watching a good movie or series.

Cynthia's coding training

Cynthia has gained access to SheCodes Plus for at no cost. It’s a 4 month coding training that’ll take her from a beginner to a professional.

She'll learn popular technologies, from HTML, CSS, JavaScript and development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

1. Basics Coding Workshop (3 weeks)
2. Basics Add-on (1 week)
3. Plus Coding Workshop (8 weeks)
4. Plus Add-on (2 weeks)
She’ll gain access to each portion after finishing the preceding portion. She’ll build up her coding knowledge gradually along the way. 🙌
