Cynthia's Story My interest in coding began from curiosity. While teaching online and writing in Taiwan, I relied on digital tools every day and tried to learn how they worked—and how I could create something of my own. That curiosity grew into a desire to design websites and apps that can help others. Over time, I explored web design platforms, AI tools, and automation systems. As someone with AuDHD—a combination of autism and ADHD—coding feels like a perfect fit. My brain thrives on patterns, hyperfocus, and creative problem-solving. Programming blends structure with flexibility, giving me space to think deeply while expressing new ideas. I’ve lived in Taiwan for ten years as a permanent resident, constantly striving for stability while building a life from scratch. Learning to code through SheCodes would allow me to turn that curiosity into skill and skill into independence. Coding feels like a natural language for how my mind works—systematic, expressive, and endlessly full of possibility. I’m ready to use it to create, contribute, and finally build something lasting.
