My motivation for learning how to code with she codes is that j have been interested in coding for along time but did not know where start because I found self learning quite difficult, however after seeing a number of successful African women coders that passed through Shecodes, I was certain that I could also get there. Learning to code can open up a wide range of career opportunities in fields such as software development, web development, data science which jam interested in and look forward to being able to perform the tasks. Coding skills empowers us to turn our ideas into reality. I want to learn to code so as have a hands-on approach to building and developing their projects. These coding skills also enable us logically think and solve problems. I also have passion for technology and programming drive the desire to learn how to code. I generally enjoy the challenge of creating and building using technology. SheCodes provides a supportive community for women interested in technology.
