Cimera's Story I kicked off my journey using very basic front-end web development programs. Being a graphic designer driven by creativity, I found myself a bit restricted relying solely on these platforms for website creation. That's when I decided to dive into coding – to unleash more freedom and bring my creativity to new heights. Knowing coding in depth would help me tackle the parts of web creation that a basic drag-and-drop software cannot personalise.

🙋‍♀️ Cimera's Motivation

My motivation for learning how to code with SheCodes stems from a deep-seated passion for graphic design. I have a strong desire to expand my skill set and reach higher goals. As the industry is mostly male populated, I think it's important for women like me to show that we're good at more than just typical "kitchen duties." It's like saying, "Hey, we can do awesome stuff in tech too!"

🤹‍♀️ Cimera's Hobbies

I enjoy anything and everything revolving around art and design. I enjoy cooking and creating new recipes. I love the mobile game 'PubG.' Lastly but most importantly, scrolling through Pinterest.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
