Charity's Story I remember when I was young my brother was always coding for hours trying to bring food on our table, and most of the time I would sit with him trying to see what he's doing, he even started explaining some of the things he was doing. Most of it didn't make sense and so it left me curious. I'm interested in learning because I want to understand the language computers speak as the world is fastly advancing in technology in order to help my country be updated and be develop earlier

🙋‍♀️ Charity's Motivation

The name itself SheCodes motivates me to even thrive more in my career, I've always been curious about coding since I was young but external voices made it seem impossible for a girl to learn how to code. But I believe in a place like this it is possible for me to become a computer scientist, which I've always dreamed about and I'm ready to do all it takes. I believe not only men are good at coding but girls can do it even better if the essential guide and materials are available.

🤹‍♀️ Charity's Hobbies

I like reading (a lot) selfhelp books and sometimes novels Listening to music Writing Yoga Drawing

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
