Ayanda's Story When I was still in school, I decided on IT over tourism because I desired to be able to create my own website eventually. Since a lot of work is done remotely these days, knowing how to code would be advantageous. I also enjoyed taking the ISTN module in university, so I wanted to major in it but was afraid. Looking back, I regret not following my gut. I would like to know how it is done and how it functions.

🙋‍♀️ Ayanda's Motivation

The competition that we face as recent graduates when applying to large companies is another reason that I want to add coding to my skill set. Many companies require their employees to have some knowledge of Word and Excel, so if I can demonstrate that I know how to create websites and that I can code, that could lead to many amazing opportunities. In today's technologically advanced world, where everything is done remotely and people are being replaced by robots, knowing more about coding, HTML, PHP, and other languages is essential.

🤹‍♀️ Ayanda's Hobbies

I enjoy reading books to be informed and inspired, I enjoy playing netball, I enjoy going to UTUBE to pick up new skills, I enjoy playing games with my family and friends, and I find calm by gazing at the moon.
