Asisipho's Story I first got hooked on coding when I started scrolling through TikTok and saw women—real, relatable, and unapologetically brilliant—breaking down tech concepts, building apps, and sharing their projects in bite‑size videos. Seeing them turn ideas into something tangible sparked something inside me: a curiosity about how code shapes our world, from the apps we use daily to the bigger systems that drive social change. That spark turned into a deeper dive. I began researching how technology touches everything—how a simple line of code can streamline a local business, connect a farmer to market prices, or give a voice to someone who feels unheard. The more I learned, the more I realized that coding isn’t just a skill; it’s a tool for innovation that can solve real‑world problems and open doors for people like me who want to make a difference. Now I’m eager to keep learning, to turn theory into practice, and to build something that matters. By stepping into this new world one foot at a time—I hope to expand my thinking, create practical solutions, and share that knowledge with my community, helping us all ride the wave of technology together.

By diving into coding and all things tech, I hope to expand my way of thinking, build practical skills, and then share that knowledge with the people around me. In the end, I want to ride the wave of innovation, grow my own capabilities, and use what I learn to make a real impact in my community.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
