Alma's Story My journey with coding began in 2018 when I first stumbled upon programming in class. I vividly remember the thrill of writing my first line of code and seeing 'Hello, World!' displayed on the screen. That moment sparked a sense of excitement and possibility. As I continued to learn and grow, I became increasingly confident that coding could be a powerful tool for creating real-world impact. With each new project and problem solved, my passion for coding only grew stronger. I'm now eager to continue learning, building, and using my skills to drive positive change and I'm excited to see where this journey takes me.

In my free time, I enjoy expressing myself through writing, often using it as a therapeutic outlet to process my emotions. I'm also passionate about learning from others, engaging in meaningful conversations with individuals from diverse professional backgrounds, and gaining new insights. Singing is another creative outlet that brings me joy. Above all, I'm driven by a desire to make a positive impact, no matter how small I believing that every effort counts and contributes to personal growth and a better world.

Alma has gained access to SheCodes Plus for at no cost. It’s a 4 month coding training that’ll take her from a beginner to a professional.

She'll learn popular technologies, from HTML, CSS, JavaScript and development tools. She'll also get to build her own online portfolio to showcase to potential employers!

3. Plus Coding Workshop (8 weeks)
4. Plus Add-on (2 weeks)
