Aitana's Story My interest in coding began a few years ago when I enrolled in a free edX course to learn Python. The structured approach, the logic, and the problem-solving aspects immediately interested me. Also, throughout my studies as an electronic engineer, I had a few lessons on C but I have always wanted to solidify my knowledge in more advanced languages.

🙋‍♀️ Aitana's Motivation

My main motivation is to fill educational gaps in my studies and uplift my family from the economic challenges we face in Venezuela. I'm currently at the finish line of my Electronic Engineering major at Universidad Simon Bolivar, a publicly funded institution facing a lot of financial challenges. I unfortunately did not receive comprehensive instruction in coding during the latter years of my studies. Learning how to code through SheCodes not only presents a chance to bridge the knowledge gap in my education but also to help my family overcome economic constraints.

🤹‍♀️ Aitana's Hobbies

I really enjoy yoga and reading, I always try to focus on wellness and personal growth!

The Delac Foundation Mission

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
