Angie's Story Sometimes I needed to read scientific articles, that's when I met Sci-Hub and Alexandra Elbakyan became my inspiration. I think that knowledge should be free and available to everyone.Programming is a tool to achieve that end.

🙋‍♀️ Angie's Motivation

My motivation with programming is to make everything a bit easier, in my specific case I would like to create an app that helps match and find homes for stray animals. In Colombia the statistics of homeless animals are enormous, something good would be to create a kind of network where adopters can consult which animals they can adopt, be foster homes or which they can financially support while they find a home, in the end the most important thing is that they improve the lives of little beings, who are not to blame for living on the street.

🤹‍♀️ Angie's Hobbies

I like to volunteer, play music with my friends, help animals, but above all spread the importance of wildlife in Colombia, so that people learn that we are all important and have a fundamental role in our ecosystem.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
