Sunita's Story The first time I got to know about coding was through a relative I got very interested in coding and I started to study English so I can study coding. I love the idea of creating something and not to mention having knowledge in coding opens more career paths. And this state I'm just trying to find something that I love and experience different career paths and coding is something I always wanted to try.

🙋‍♀️ Sunita's Motivation

I wanted to learn coding for a while now but never really got to do it now I study Biotechnology at university and coding is one of the skills that's needed in this field of study. I tried studying code with mobile apps, books, and other sites I found through google but I'm a total beginner and I had little to zero progress, I got to know SheCodes through a YouTube ad and joined the free 1hr class I found it easy to understand and quite useful.

🤹‍♀️ Sunita's Hobbies

I mostly like to spend my free time reading, I read of all genres and don't really have a preference, I also write on my blog other than that I love listening to music and playing guitar.

The Delac Foundation Mission

Women hold only 25% of coding jobs and earn 30% less than men. In many developing countries, over 65% of women lack bank accounts, making it difficult to invest in their education.

The Delac Foundation is changing that. We provide women in developing countries with free coding education, equipping them with the skills to build a better future. In partnership with SheCodes, we offer training in product development, design, and management, empowering women to thrive in the tech industry.
