Sandhya's Story My interest in coding started in high school when I saw my computer science teacher working on a project out of their love for technology. I was captivated by how a few lines of code could create something functional out of nothing. One day, my teacher showed me a simple website they had built, and I was instantly fascinated. I remember being amazed at how someone could build an entire new world through coding. Driven by curiosity, I asked my teacher to teach me the basics. We spent hours together as they explained HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The first time I saw my code come to life on the screen—a simple webpage with my name on it— I felt an incredible sense of accomplishment. That moment ignited my passion for coding, and since then, I've been eager to learn and create more.

I enjoy painting as a hobby. I've always liked how colors can express emotions that words can't always convey. I recall a summer when I had a lot of work to do. To relax, I painted a picture of a beach I had visited as a child. As I worked with the colors, my stress melted away. Painting took me back to that peaceful, carefree moment. I also like to read as a hobby. I enjoy losing myself in a good book, particularly one that is science fiction or fantasy. Stories stimulate my imagination, taking me to new worlds and inspiring my artistic pursuits. I like to go hiking as well. Being outside, away from screens, and simply taking in the simplicity of nature has a refreshing effect. It is a fantastic method for me to take some time to relax and unwind.
