PRISCA's Story One of my secondary school teachers introduced me to it but I did not persue it at the time because I had a fear that I would fail at it because a lot of people around me were saying that its hard and i let it get to my head but that changed when I got it into social media (tiktok to be specific ) and I saw a 20 year old South African girl who did not have the opportunity to go to university learn how to code and it inspired me to give it a try and SheCodes foundations seemeds like the best way to kick start this journey as i get to actively learn how to code instead of watching youtube videos of people doing it. I would like to be a software engineer and SheCodes will help me achieve this goal as i will get to learn the basics and build my way into the more complex stuff.

The SheCodes verification is recognised by big tech companies and the positive testimonials on the website are very impressive and I believe this foundation will launch me in the right direction as I start this journey of coding. There are a lot of woman who are under privileged and were unemployed as I am right now that I have come across that learned how to code via this platform that went on to secure well paying jobs in big companies and i aspire to be in the positions they have AS TH Learning how to code will make me a competitive candidate as i apply for jobs as I would have the skills that are needed in this technological era we are currently in and it will help me secure part time jobs that I can do and be able to send back some money home to help out my parents.

PRISCA's coding training
